I have learned that when we speak out loud, it makes our words more real. I am talking about complimentary things about ourselves. For most of us this is very uncomfortable to do. We have been told over the years not to be conceited or full of ourselves, so to start saying encouraging words to ourselves feels strange.
Start telling yourself everyday that you are loving and loved, and that you are talented and smart. If you do not believe this today, over time you will. Since this is only day two of my blog, I realise that not many people will be reading this, but this is also good information for myself.
My quote for today is of my own writing. It is:
Don't try to analyze
Don't try to understand
God's greatest gifts
Cannot be explained by man
You always have a choice to be unhappy or happy. Make the right decision.

Hello from Aileen
Today is Sunday, March 8, 2009 and this is my first entry on my blog. I have thought about creating a blog for a few months, and now today is THE day.
I welcome all of you who are reading this and hope that the reading of this leaves you with a smile on your face. Over the past few years I have written poems which are my Divine Guidance, so the best place to start is to share one of my poems with you. It is entitled, Never Give Up on Your Dream.
Never Give Up On Your Dream
When is the right time to give up on your dream?
Is it when your goals seems far too extreme?
Is it when the sky is gray, and has lost all blue?
Or is it when you are at your wit's end and don't know what to do?
Don't ever quit dreaming because your dream can come true
You may not believe it, but it is entirely up to you
Keep on believing and you'll achieve your aspiration
With courage and determination, you 'll reach your destination
Don't ever give up, and don't ever complain
For the sun will shine through the pouring rain
Miraculously your rainbow will suddenly appear
And smiles of joy will replace worried tears
The reason you have a dream is because it is yours to achieve
This, you must never forget, and you must always believe
Though you can't imagine how your dream will come true
Understand that God has something special in store for you
Your dream is a gift certificate that God wants to you to redeem
So never give up, no matter how difficult it might seem
Always remember there is nothing to fear
Live with faith and hope, and your dream will appear
